So how does REBT help you?

I’ve found that when people or couples are confronted with adversity, it is largely their irrational beliefs that lead them to unwanted consequences. Getting to work quickly on your thought-feeling-behavior connections, I am able to help you identify the irrational thoughts that hold you hostage in a cycle of problematic behavior and teach you how to replace them with rational thoughts.

REBT empowers people or couples to deal with difficult emotions and increase their personal effectiveness and satisfaction by changing the way they think. By learning to recognize and challenge irrational beliefs, and replace them with more accurate ones, my clients gain lasting control of their reactions. The value of working this way is in learning how to become your own therapist, recognizing irrational beliefs when they arise and replacing them yourself.
